Moment of Turth

It was R's last day. After a relatively big (14 persons) and cheap ($70 each!) lunch at Chiu Chow Garden, it's her turn to treat people cakes, say bye, etc.

She and some of her friends were using a meeting room. In the middle, her manager came in to ask her something.

We teased that the number of contacts he made in this single day probably exceeded the number he did in the past 2.5 years.




I think it was her happy moment but there were quite many colleagues who might have their jobs in shaky positions. But I must say that it is not a bad time for the company to trim as the job market is quite active...
