Bird's dilemma

Had a chat with Bird about his friend's situation. Bird keeps on uncovering new new things as time goes by. Not sure what he can do, to what degree he can afford helping, and last but not least, does it really matter (I think yes) to his friend and will it make a difference (probably not)? In the end, should Bird bother?

Regardless, there is 1 thing that Bird can do though: continue to grow his riches.
