Terry makes Fifa World Cup squad

Chelsea defender John Terry is the only England player to have made it into the World Cup squad of the tournament.

Fifa's technical study group chose 23 players in total including seven players from Italy and four from fellow finalists France.

There is no room for Brazil's Ronaldo who scored three goals, with Ze Roberto the only representative from Carlos Alberto Parreira's squad.

Players from the African or Asian nations failed to make the squad.
