Volver (To Return)

It's a full house and the movie is quite good. The actresses performed well. I agreed with some critiques Penelope Cruz did better in Spanish films than those from Hollywood.


Sex has always been a main theme in Pedro Almodovar's films. It is very mild in this one though. Not sure if I recalled correctly. The first one directed by Almodovar that I watched was Tie Me Up! Tie Me Down! And then High Heels, Live Flesh, All About My Mother.
