Macao - Day 1

It's 3:30pm+
We got a short break before the next client meeting, at Singing Bean that Mo brought me there the 1st time, together with Woo & K.

It's a pre-race day.
It was very noisy in the morning as they were practising arleady.
Typically you just heard very loud noise but didn't see too many cars
Even you saw some, they went past very fast.

To ease the traffic, the government over FREE bus service, to everyone.

Mr. Ho is going to present (well... it's almost 4pm, should have presented already) the policy address.
Heard that Macao will offer more social benefits.

Radio news reported that the gambling industry contributes to 95% of the government's revenue.
And my fellow client said that it's still low as compared to LV's of 99.6%... :)
It's quite amazing to imagine the impact if the prc government imposes stronger hold on the outflow of cash to the casinos, by any soft & hard means.
The economy looks great but fragile.
But who cares, as long as people live happily today, just like the crazy stock market in hk.

I am not sure if crazy is the right word.
The participants are crazy, perhaps the market not.

History repeats itself, and will continue to repeat itself.
For how many times one has been regret for a pre-mature sell (已失去), or a late buy (得不到).
Maybe those doing nothing and staying away from the crowd are wiser and in the long run richer, as they suffer less from the strain & stress, up & down, in this regard... :P

It's 3:50pm+
Suddently we found our drinks are still missing...
I asked one of the waiters and the boy checked with cashier and the lady said we didnt have any order.
Well, we did order, we told them.
Of course, that didn't help.
I could choose to stand up and leave but coffee is the most needed.
A coffee in need is a coffee indeed.
But I forgot what I ordered!
I re-visited the menu and picked mine again... should be "vontage" of Medium Roast/Body and Low Acidity.

At 4:00pm
The drinks came.
No surprise this time.

Well, it's about time to go.
Need to allow for the extra lead time to catch a taxi and wait, wait & wait on the road.

One thing I know: I will probably be happy this evening.
I will stay at Best Wester in Taipa.
The place is close to Kwun Ye Street.
Should have a good if not big dinner with my fellow colleague.

Bye for now.
4:10pm
