Innovation that matters, treat that counts (Checkpoint)

The registration formally ended at 9am on Friday.  Congratulation to the 2 successful freeriders: pom & thousand year egg.

Treat arrangement will be announced later, as there is an active re-engineering effort on the rationalization, re-prioritization, simplifcation and rightsizing of all outstanding and upcoming treat initiatives.  One of the key, if not dominant, design principles is to identify and eliminate asyncrhonous cross-treat items so as to reduce waste, protect the environment and contribute to the blue sky movement.

Planning of the major revamp should be completed by 1Q 2008.  The funding of the first consolidated treat event should be confirmed by 2Q 2008 and the actual treat delivered by 4Q 2008.

It is not sure how the stakeholders will be affected.  Apart from the planning work which is intellectual intensive, sound change management practice has been chosen to address the soft issues, even though an experienced change management consultant is still missing at the moment.
