What a job! (well... career?)

Just come across this in an internal blog:

Our Team Is Looking For A New Teammate!

Our team is looking for a new teammate!!!   Do you like to research and analyze emerging trends, technologies and future XXX business opportunities?  Then read on...

Our team supports C_r_o_a_e S_r_t_g_ with in depth market research and analysis to support that team's emerging business opportunity development activities.  We have an opening for a new member of our team.

The way I describe the job many times is that it is very similar type of work you did during your Marketing Management MBA classes.  Remember when you had assignments to write on a market or a company situation?   Perhaps you had to do this by yourself or perhaps you were on a team of 3-4 MBA students.  Anyway, you typically had about 4-5 weeks to ramp up on a subject, learn as much as you could about it, then write a report that provided your analysis, implications, and recommendations.  That's kind of what our team does.

Skills/Characteristics you need for this job include:

  • strong analytical skills,
  • strategic thinking skills,
  • strong secondary research skills (e.g. Google)
  • consulting skills (e.g. project management, client relationship, deliverable development)
  • written/verbal communication skills
  • teaming / collaboration skills
  • curiosity about the future.
The job requires very, very little travel, so it is perfect for a MBA trained consultant who is tired of traveling.  The ideal candidate would be located in W_s_c_e_t_r C_u_t_ as our client, C_r_o_a_e S_r_t_g_, is based at the A_m_n_ H_a_q_a_t_r building.

So are you interested?  Send me an email and I will put you in touch with the hiring manager!
