Earthquake

i booked a flight at 5:30pm to hk

and i parked my luggage at jrpy's office

i went there to pick up before 2:30pm

i thought it's early

and i had need to...

so i went out to find a way to address my bio needs

and went back to his office building

i saw people coming out from the building

i found it strange

those must be people having group meeting and leaving...

but then there were more people

tried to enter the building

the property mgmt / guard said there was some incident and people
couldnt go in

so i asked

heard that the building was shaking (!)

and later found that they suspected that there's an earthquake

and i called jrpy

he was not in the building (well... snake king... for some good reason)

and i worried if i could get back my stuffs

he managed to go in and bring my stuffs

and there were more and more and more people

my original plan was to take train+train to airport

but decided to change plan & take a taxi instead

and saw many people on the street, particularly outside those very tall
buildings

and took some videos (to be shared later)

it was a good and smooth ride

the flight was delayed to 6:15pm

there was a very long queue

i was waiting, waiting and waiting

and suddenly though of online check-in

but i was skeptic because it was so closed to the departure time

and i opened my notebook

found weak but free wireless service offered by pudong airport

managed to do online checkin

and i jumped to the online checkin queue and got my pass

it's much much faster

and the flight took off at 7pm instead of 6:15pm....

it's 10pm+ when i went back home

and heard from radio that the death toll has been rising
