Bank of East Asia to launch private banking in Chongqing
Hong Kong's Bank of East Asia (BEA) will be the first foreign bank to operate private banking business in the city of Chongqing in Sichuan province. The bank will open a branch there to provide customized investment and wealth management service to high-end clients. The branch will also engage in mortgage business. Bank clients will also enjoy other services like family trust, education and retirement planning.
