Fair share

Here is how to calculate how much one needs to pay in the upcoming event...

From my e-mail =>

p.s. as a typical me, let's complicate things

a person's fair share to pay = (cost of BBQ) * (1 unit * Job_Change_Factor * Birthday_Factor * Age_Factor * Contribution_Factor) / (sum of all units of all participants)

where:

Job_Change_Factor =
0.5 if one is jobless on day of bbq
1.5 if there was at least 1 job change in past 6 calendar months (from date of bbq)
1.25 if there will be a job change in coming calendar month (from date of bbq; honor system)
1 for kids
1 if none of the above

Birthday_Factor =
0.5 for one with before/after 1 calendar month from date of bbq
0.7 for one with before/after 2 calendar month from date of bbq
0.9 for one with before/after 3 calendar month from date of bbq
1 if none of the above

Age_Factor =
0 for age of 0 and 6 inclusive
0.5 for age of 6+ and 12 inclusive
1 for age of 12+

Contribution_Factor =
0.9 for one who has helped on PLAN / DESIGN / BUILD
1 for others
