BEIJING, Dec. 17 (Xinhua)  Bank of East Asia (China) Limited (

BEA) will become the first foreign corporate bank to launch RMB

credit card business in China next week, according to the BEA vice

president Li Zhimin.

The business will further improve the bank's personal banking

services and widen its service lines in coordination with online

banking, RMB debit card business and wealth management products, said

Lin.

BEA's credit card system was nodded by Chinese central bank, the

People's Bank of China (PBoC) early November.

The bank also led other foreign banks in issuing RMB debit card of

UnionPay standard in China in May 2008. Enditem
