HP announced plans to further integrate Electronic Data Systems, a technology services giant it acquired this year. HP said EDS Chief Executive Ron Rittenmeyer will retire at the end of this year. He will be succeeded by current EDS senior vice president. EDS will be folded into HP's business technology division (AWSJ).
