天文台料市區晚上跌至9度

天文台說，今日是12年來最冷的年初一，預料今晚巿區跌至9度，新界地區再低
一、兩度。天文台說，今晚大致多雲，但不會下雨，預料明日短暫時間有陽光，氣
溫稍為回升至12度，未來一星期，仍然寒冷，氣溫徘徊在10度左右。民政總署已開
放10間臨時避寒中心。 另外，長者安居服務協會表示，由午夜至晚上九時有1400
名長者按平安鐘，其中75人需要送院，主要是氣促。

大年初一，不少市民趁假期出外旅遊，民航處估計今日會有超過900班航機升降，
打破單日升降紀錄。

Dinner gathering

I joined the dinner gathering of R & M together with Mr Wong. We went to 悦香 in Wanchai. The last time I went there was many many many years ago already.

We had:
鱼肚玉米羹
椒盐九肚鱼
香妃鸡半只
虾浆蒸肉青
咸鱼 火文 茄子

The dishes were good and the price/performance was reasonable.

We then went for Dan Ryan in Pacific Place for dessert and drink. I ordered Long Island Iced Tea. Its color was quite unusual and the taste mediocre...

Sleeping

A lady was sitting and sleeping very comfortably in the bus I took...

Langham Place

It's my first time to visit Langham Place in Mongkok. I am very curious about how they manage the re-development in an old area. Anyway it was quite amazing to see the structure and the design of a vast hollow space inside the building that allows the use of floating fishes. I am still not sure if the floating fishes are controlled manually. It might be silly and labor intensive if people are needed to steer them.
