Day Zero - May 20

i've read that it's only available on sundays
there was a welcome reception and i was struggling about doing one or the other
i chose to join the company event as it's supposed to be a biz trip... :)

i did go to the place though to take a look what it's like
after getting off the hotel shuttle, i walked a long way
then went into the subway
and found that it's only a stop away
it costed me 1E... :)

Day One - May 21

I heard the story from my TW colleague
he took an air france flight (well tp - hk - paris - madrid) and checked in at 6pm+
he chose to watch the game instead of the welcome event
hotel people said only tickets of 100E (something like that, or 140E?) were available and they could buy for him
he went straight to the place and found tickets of 26E were available
however, that came the bad news
it started raining heavily at 7pm+, the show was abandoned and people were leaving
he didnt know how he could get back the money though

he also said the trip from airport to hotel, which is a short one, costed him 30E
the taxi driver quoted a price without using the meter
althought it's at the company's expense but still he wasn't happy
well... i think almost all cities are like this

it's 6:10pm
my AP leader "blew chicken" to meet at 7pm and have dinner together
i am not sure if it will be an interesting event
but then again meeting people does matter
so i will join
plus i can still have personal time on thu-sat... :)
