The price of low-price strategy

Huawei Technologies, China's largest telecom-gear maker, said its net income rose 32% last year to US$674m as it expanded overseas but the increase lagged behind the 48% jump in revenue as competitive pricing weighed on margins. Revenues hit US$12.6bn as overseas markets accounted for 72% of contract sales (AWSJ, SCMP).
