IBM has quietly switched the jobs of two of its most powerful senior vice presidents. Ginni Rometty, senior vice president, global business services, and one of IBM's two highest ranking women, will become senior vice president, global sales and distribution, in charge of Big Blue's vaunted sales force. The company also posted a 12% increase in fourth-quarter profit and gave an upbeat outlook for 2009 (AWSJ, SCMP, FT).
