世銀首席經濟師林毅夫：感覺如履薄冰如臨深淵

世界銀行委任內地經濟學者林毅夫，出任首席經濟師，是首位出任這個職位的中國
人。林毅夫接受本台訪問時表示，今次獲委任是很高的榮譽，亦是很大的責任和挑
戰，他會抱著「如履薄冰，如臨深淵」的態度來接受新的工作。林毅夫表示，他自
己是來自發展中國家的經濟學家，希望可以將發展中國家遇到的問題及挑戰，帶進
世界銀行。他又表示，他加入世界銀行後主要是在研究部門工作。

Personal opinion based on latest information:

(1) The pics are real.

(2) It's not clear if the girls under the spotlight knew that they were shot or not.

(3) If yes, they should accept that it's unlucky and disastrous and yet they need to bare some responsibility.

(4) If no, they could probably file a claim against the guy. In this case, there is superficial evidence that the guy is a b_____d.

(5) Those publishing the pics should be penalized of theft.

(6) It's doubtful if they broke the law or not by uploading those naked pics (indecent, as what the CP described). In the brick and barter world, there has been long debate on whether pics and articles should be classified as indecent or not.

(7) In any case, someone's claim that those owning "indecent" electronic materials could be prosecuted is a BS. I like what I read from Yahoo!HK that a policeman claimed (exclaimed) that most police might have broken laws. And if it's real, the man taking all these pics should have broken laws already.

海關 發言人今日提醒中港過境私家車司機／旅客，由內地返港入境時切勿攜帶
沒有入口許可證的蘭花入境，否則可被檢控。海關在本月三日於落馬洲 管制站
共發現五宗利用私家車非法入口蘭花的案件，共

拘捕兩名入境旅客、三名中港過境私家車司機及檢獲共七盆蘭花，被捕人士年齡介
乎三十四至五十八歲。 檢獲的蘭花及被捕人士已轉交漁農自然護理署 人員跟
進。根據《保護瀕危動植物物種條例》，沒有有關許可證進口蘭花屬違法行為，任何
人士如欲攜帶蘭花入境，必須先取得漁農自然護理署簽發的入口許可證。如違反上
述規定，最高可被罰款港幣五萬元及監禁六個月。

Long lasting?

周日朋友談到要買數碼相機，朋友說數碼相機像手機一樣，不是很 long
lasting，所以很難決定（大意）。

我想，很多事和情都不是很 long lasting 的，問題是與期望是否相稱，對同一件
事情不同人有不同的看法。外人與當事人可以意見不同，當事人與當事人也可以有
完全相反的觀點與角度。這可能就是爲什麽人之所以為人，萬物之靈，是否有點自
大... :)

Birthday

Feb 4 is the birthday of Bird's new friend P. Bird arranged a dinner with P and I joined their dinner together with P's colleague L.

Birthday carries different meanings and different importance to different people. Apparently it may be just another day for P. I didn't know too much how she spent her birthdays in the past but this one in 2005 must be a special enough one. We didn't order too much food but it was a delicious one. It was a pleasant and interesting gathering for four persons with different backgrounds and stories.

The above pic was taken when Bird and I were on the bus heading to home. He missed P very much.

I am writing this article on Feb 9. My HiFi is playing in shuffle mode. By chance, it is now playing a sounddtrack from the movie 男人四十. In the movie, 林嘉欣 is reading her work 重阳节偶拾...
