When lights are red

It was my last night in Amsterdam and also the last night of my trip. It was very late. I dropped my stuffs at the hotel and went out with my camera. I saw the red lights at a distance, which I didn't see in the previous nights.

Well... put it this way... I went to the red light district but didn't notice the red lights quite closed to my hotel.

I took a few shots at a distance... That isn't a central area and there weren't too many people. And I must say the quality of the ladies was at the lower end. No fantasy at all...

Recovery in progress

After trying a few software products (both free and free trial), it seems that most if not all of the harddisk can be recovered.

I am now trying to recover the pics from my 4GB card. Most of the pics taken on Sept 21 (venezia) were lost.

Last Supper

I got beer, pea soup and prime rib at 24.5 euro.

It's the first soup I ever had in my whole trip. It's special.

The steak was just ordinary.

There was also live jazz on that day (Mondays).

Birds

it's the last 2nd day in amsterday (and of my trip)

i joined a local tour to visit several spots near amsterdam city

included was a ferry ride

in between i found that the seagulls just kept following the boat

and i took quite some of them
