Biometric Capture at Japanese Airport Starting from 20 November 2007, all passengers of non-Japanese nationals arriving at an airport in Japan will need to go through a Biometric Registration process, where passengers' both index fingerprints and facial image will be captured. This biometric capture process, however, will not affect passengers transiting with an international-to-international itinerary.
